Gross Motor Play for Baby

Gina

This is such a fun & effective way to offer play opportunities for baby!

Materials:

  • Painter's tape

  • Plastic ball pit balls

How To:

1. Use painters' tape to stick 3-6 balls up on the wall. If your baby is practicing tummy time, put the balls lower. If they are working on sitting or standing, adjust accordingly.

2. That's it! Watch as they stretch & grab & push & swat at the balls.

This is SO simple but SO very impactful. It strengthens fine & gross motor skills, balance & core & shoulder strength. It also works on hand-eye coordination, visual/spatial skills, problem solving and more!

Always monitor babies during play. Never leave unattended.
