You can use them SO many ways:
Place loose parts on the circles, working on 1:1 correspondence and shape building.
Place magnetic chips on each circle.  Use the magnetic wand to pick up the pieces, moving as if you were drawing the shape.
Use a hole punch to poke the circles out.  Use a piece of string and weave in and out through the circles of the shape.
 
If possible, laminate for durability.
